I’m happy to announce that my work for the Goel Center opening received Gold and Grand Gold in the CASE Circle of Excellence Awards. I say that the curse is broken, because I’ve submitted work to this competition in the last six years and nothing. I knew going into this project, that it would be special and that I wanted to make it the best that it could possibly be! I received Grand Gold in the Invitation category, and Gold in the Multipage-publications/folders category for the entire suite of print materials. There were a lot of late nights and weekends trying to make sure this project looked its best and the results were great. Kudos to my colleagues who were very supportive of the vision from the beginning and for the kick-ass language they came up with to make this suite awesome!

I recently became obsessed with creating patterns involving several icons. This is due to the opportunity I had to work with a client wanting environmental graphics designed, which included a lead pattern to be used on multiple walls. Since I’m more of a “less is more” person, I struggled with the idea at first, but then as I started putting icons together like puzzle pieces, it started to come to life! Hoping to reveal the final installation soon.

The creative suite I designed for the opening of the Goel Center just won Gold in the Creative Excellence category in the CASE District 1 awards. CASE stands for Council for Advancement in Support of Education. This international organization is the leader when it comes to school marketing and fundraising efforts. They organize educational events for people in Higher-ed. Each year they host the District Awards, in which every state belongs to a district. Later in the year, they host the Creative Excellence Awards, their largest, most competitive competition. I will submit my work again because I had a vision that it would be recognized in the early design stages, which made me push harder. Let’s see how it goes! Check out the full suite.

I’m so thrilled to announce that the this letterpressed invitation just received a gold award in the MarCom Awards Competition. This is a competition hosted by the International Association of Marketing and Communications professionals. Over 6,000 entries. The long hours working on this definitely paid off! After seven months of working on this exciting project, I was able to see everything come to life. The patterns, the icons, the colors, all worked together on print and on environmental graphics! Such treat to work on this. I also have to credit the amazing writers to stayed within theme for this grand event! Full suite and details coming soon!
